I’m an American who lived in São Paulo, Brazil from 2011-2019. In that time I became fluent in Portuguese, earned my MBA, launched and sold a startup, made front page news, was a keynote speaker on several occasions, designed an innovative national marketing campaign for a car and been live on stage in front of 1,7 million people! I’d love to tell you more about that last one!
I have now moved back to the states and started at Revenue River, an amazing digital marketing agency
I love data, and know my statistics. Not only do I know how to use analytical tools, especially Google Analytics, but also I know what to do with the data that they collect. I also know HTML, CSS, and to a lesser extent Java and PHP. I’m strong with CMS tools such as Joomla or Wordpress and inbound automation tools like Sharpspring, Hubspot and RD station to name a few. I have 13+ years of experience in online advertising and have a deep knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook, Linkedin, twitter, Instagram, Outbrain and Bing. I read a lot, go to conferences and study. I use what I learn to derive my own hypotheses and test them. I love this stuff and I’ve been doing it since 2004.
My first director roll was in 2008 where I was responsible for a marketing department, which grew to have a 6 figure annual marketing budget because of our successes. I founded a company called Táxi Aqui which put me in the room with executives and investors where I had to present complicated concepts and financial data. I have been the keynote speaker for several events. I joined Muttuo Agency, as the marketing director, where I managed a talented team of marketers. I know what it takes to build a top tier growth/marketing plan, and how to execute it by leveraging my teammates strengths. I also like to get my hands dirty, implementing new ideas myself. I've worked in many Agile environments including Scrum and I've used tools like Basecamp, Slack, Trello, Jira, Wrike and MS project throughout my career and can use those platforms to make things more efficient. I pick apart complicated issues allowing me to make decisions which improves the LTV vs CAC ratio, contributes to product design, and increases conversion rates.
